This project included the provision of a
new pavilion structure at the rear of an existing house in Hunters Hill. The process involved applying a contemporary approach to a previously
approved Development Application (DA) whilst maintaining the approved footprint. A variety of sketch plans were prepared before submission of a Section 96
Application to Hunters Hill Council.
The new addition accommodates a combined Living/ Dining/ Kitchen space connected via a covered terrace to the rear garden. Upstairs contains a large parent bedroom area. The design combines a a timber-clad (Spotted Gum) 'box' sitting on a heavier brick 'base'.
